Citizens of risk countries

Citizens of risk countries (i.e. countries which are not on the list with a low risk of COVID-19 incidence issued by the Ministry of Health here) are obliged immediately after entering the Czech Republic, to notify this fact to Reginal Hygiene Station, and undergo an RT-PCR test for the presence of SARS CoV-2 on the territory of Czech Republic, at their own expense, and report the result within 72 hours after arrival to Regional Hygiene station and to university/employer. Until the negative result of the RT-PCR test they are denied access to university/workplace. They will be allowed to enter university/workplace only after receiving a negative test result. Citizens from high-risk countries are obliged to undergo a second RT-PCR test after 14 days and they report the result to university/employer.

All citizens of high-risk countries after entering the Czech Republic have a limited free movement with exception of necessary journeys to university/workplace, to arrange necessary official matters and essential life needs, and are obliged to wear a face mask.

Positive test result needs to be reported to Regional Hygiene Station, which will decide about quarantine measures. At the same time, the university/workplace must be notified, and in case of accommodation at the dormitories, also the dormitories management.
