After a year’s break, anthropologists from Brno are again set to explore the cemetery in Přibice

Scientists and students from the Department of Anthropology at the Faculty of Science, MU, are once again preparing for their traditional anthropological and archaeological field research trip to the Hutterite Cemetery in Přibice, Brno region, which will take place in August.

The EIRENE project coordinated by Masaryk University is included in the ESFRI Roadmap 2021

Last week, the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) published a list of 11 European research infrastructures that will be newly included in its Roadmap from 2021. Vice-rector's award for excellent results in doctoral studies

The aim of this award, which is part of the so-called Strengthening of the appreciation of excellent study results of doctoral students (measure 3C), is to increase the number of doctoral students who complete their studies in the standard study period, possibly extended by one year, with excellent results processed in their dissertation.

Rector Bareš handed over decrees to the new Associate Professors

On Monday 28 June, in the Paradise Garden of the Augustinian Abbey, 31 new Associate Professors from Masaryk University and other research institutions and universities received their appointment decrees. Among them were scientists working at the Faculty of Science. Congratulations!
